Our 2008 season of meetings continues with our AGM in the Cheshire area at 2.30pm on Saturday 21 June, immediately followed by the meeting of our Journal Editor and Researcher at 3pm. No doubt Terry will, as usual, have a balanced programme of classical and lighter music supported by the Terry's usual thoroughly-researched introductions, and I understand that his family will be helping him to provide the usual excellent afternoon tea. After a short break for summer, we cross the Pennines for our next meeting which is in the Leeds area on Saturday 23 August which will feature a variety of music on the Ampico and Duo-Art reproducing pianos (with a good few 88-note rolls for good measure!). And we return to Nottingham (our second meeting there this year) on Saturday 25 October, where we'll get the chance to hear more Ampico, Duo-Art and 88-note rolls at the meeting hosted by our Technical Adviser. If you see a meeting in your area prospective Members are always very welcome to attend a meeting, but please make arrangements before turning up as space is limited at many venues.
